Texas Project Learning Tree
OUTSTANDING EDUCATORS

Each year, Texas PLT selects an Outstanding Educator. This is someone who goes "above and beyond" while using PLT in his/her classroom. The recipients receive $1,000.00, a plaque, and are invited to serve on the PLT Advisory Committee for 2 years as well as on the Teachers Conservation Institute staff. Nominations are sent to the National PLT office for the opportunity for national recognition.

If you know someone who deserves this award, please follow the guidelines for nomination and submit to the state co-coordinators.

This form changes slightly every year and isn’t released until late July. Anyone interested in nominating a candidate should start collecting photos and other documents now.

Call 936/632-TREE or e-mail Texas PLT for more information.
