How to Schedule A Workshop
Click on Calendar of Events (link to National PLT website) to search for a scheduled workshop near you.
If a workshop is not scheduled near you, contact one of the trained facilitators from your region to find out when their next workshop is scheduled. To find a facilitator near you, go to the Facilitators page of this website and click on your Education Service Center Region for a list and contact information.
If you have 10 or more educators interested, ask your local facilitator to hold one at your school. Workshops must be scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance.
Educator Workshops for grades PreK-8 are 6 hours in length and cost $30 per participant ($20 for pre-service teachers). Workshops for secondary teachers are at least 3 hours in length and cost $10 per participant.
Workshops can be tailored to meet the needs of your teachers -- either by grade level, subject matter, or theme.
